What is Create your Super?
This Super Beach area helps organize beach tennis for a group that does not fit traditional Super sizes or needs a different structure. Choose King/Queen, fixed pairs or Mexicano. Each mode has its own limits and way of arranging matches.
Customizing does not mean drawing any schedule you like. The app controls combinations and validates players, courts and rounds. First decide whether players should change partners and whether you want the full schedule before play starts.
Modes and supported limits
| Mode | Participants | Courts | Rounds |
|---|---|---|---|
| King/Queen | 5–20 players, excluding 8, 12 and 16 | 1–5 courts, limited to one court for every complete group of 4 players. | Determined by group size |
| Fixed pairs | 3–20 pairs = 6–40 people | 1–5 courts, limited to one court for every complete group of 2 pairs. | 1–30 |
| Mexicano | 5–20 players, excluding 8, 12 and 16 | 1–5 courts, limited to one court for every complete group of 4 players. | 1–30 |
Example: 10 players or 5 pairs allow up to 2 courts.
Eight, twelve and sixteen individual players use traditional Individual Supers. The restrictions on 8, 12 and 16 players apply only to individual modes. Fixed-pair mode accepts 3–20 pairs. Counts are not unlimited, and Super 24 and Super 32 are not available in this version.
Full schedule or one round at a time?
King/Queen: rotating partners, full schedule
Standings are individual. Group size determines the round count; it is not a free-entry setting. Each round contains players ÷ 4 matches rounded down; fewer courts mean successive calls. Not every size allows everyone to partner with every other player.
Fixed pairs: a session with a chosen round count
Choose 1 to 30 rounds. Each round fills your chosen courts with two pairs per match. Pairs not playing have a bye. The app distributes appearances and seeks varied opponents; a short session is not a full round robin, and a long one may repeat meetings.
Mexicano: results influence what comes next
Only the opening round is generated initially. Complete its scores, then generate the next. Standings, appearances and previous matchups influence the new matches. The dedicated guide shows a two-round progression.
Three ways to plan your session
These three setups are choices within the app’s limits. The counts describe each setup rather than one recipe for every group. Below them, see a demonstration draw for ten-player King/Queen.
| Setup | Schedule | Participation |
|---|---|---|
| King/Queen · 10 players · 2 courts | 10 rounds × 2 matches = 20 matches | 8 matches and 2 byes per player |
| Fixed pairs · 6 pairs · 2 courts · 3 rounds | 3 × 2 = 6 matches | 2 matches and 1 bye per pair |
| Mexicano · 10 players · 2 courts · 5 rounds | 5 × 2 = 10 matches, generated progressively | 4 matches and 1 bye per player in this example |
In this Rei da Praia 10 draw, follow the opening King/Queen round used in the comparison. Lucas Costa, Bruno Melo and the other names are fictional. Assignments may vary with the draw and organizer settings, within the ten-player, two-court, ten-round setup shown above.
| Round / match | Pair A | Pair B | Score |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 / 1 | Bruno Melo + Nicolas Mar | Pedro Luz + Caio Rocha | To play |
| 1 / 2 | Lucas Costa + Vitor Dias | Gabriel Reis + Arthur Sol | To play |
With ten-player King/Queen, each person has eight different partners, rather than all nine other players. The schedule preserves participation counts but does not promise the same partnership properties as Super 8, 12 and 16.

What you choose, and what the schedule determines
- Choose a mode, a supported size and available courts. For fixed pairs, enter partnerships or use the offered draw options.
- In King/Queen, round count follows group size. In Mexicano and fixed pairs, choose 1 to 30; review expected participation. Round counts that complete participation cycles help distribute court time.
- Choose a ranking policy and whether to allow tied scores in qualifying rounds. You cannot promise an arbitrary everyone-with-everyone schedule for any round count.
- Matchups and byes follow the selected mode. Fewer courts in Mexicano or fixed pairs mean fewer participants per round; in King/Queen, they split the same round’s matches into successive calls.
The initial reference is 6 games. This version’s creation form does not offer a score-target selector. A score reference alone does not define how a match ends.
These guides explain how Super Beach organizes play, rather than a universal beach tennis rulebook. Agree match length, finishing rules, lateness and walkovers before the first match.
Individual records or pair records
King/Queen and Mexicano rank individual players. Fixed-pair results belong to the partnership. The numerical default uses total wins, game difference and games for, in that order. For new fixed-pair tournaments, also check the head-to-head option selected in the form.
Illustrative 6–3 score; it does not set match length or finishing rules.
| Per player | W | GF | GA | GD |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Each winner | 1 | 6 | 3 | +3 |
| Each loser | 0 | 3 | 6 | −3 |
W: wins · GF: games for · GA: games against · GD: difference.
The table above applies per player in rotating modes. For fixed pairs, those figures are counted once per pair. Byes do not award a win or count as a match.
Totals, averages and additional criteria
You can compare totals or per-match averages and adjust criterion order. When a session has byes, players may not have equal appearances at the point you stop. Tied scores, if allowed, add matches and games without a win. Automatic head-to-head is an option for fixed pairs only, between two tied pairs with all their meetings complete; it is not an automatic criterion in individual modes.
Resolve final ties using the options the app offers and check the policy in restored tournaments. In Mexicano, distinguish displayed standings from the basis used to generate the next round, explained in its guide.
Configuration questions
Can I use 8, 12 or 16 players here?
In individual modes, those sizes are reserved for traditional Supers. Fixed-pair limits count partnerships: three to twenty.
Can I choose just three King/Queen rounds?
No. The full schedule determines the count from group size. Consider Mexicano for a chosen number of successive rounds, or fixed pairs to keep partners.
Can I guarantee equal appearances for any session?
Not with every court and round combination. Review the preview and prefer complete participation cycles when there are byes. The six-pair, three-round example is one setup, not a universal rule.
Does it have the traditional doubles extra finals?
That finals stage belongs to traditional Super 8 and Super 12 Doubles. In Create your Super, the chosen rounds end with standings.
Build your setup
- Open New tournament, check PRO access and select Create your Super.
- Choose King/Queen, fixed pairs or Mexicano. Enter a supported count, courts and names; review the rounds allowed by that mode.
- Review courts, ranking criteria and names before generating the schedule. Agree event rules with the players.
- Call matches as courts become available and enter completed scores. Check results and outstanding issues before moving on.
- At the end, resolve outstanding ties, check standings and make a file backup. Local scorekeeping can work offline; publishing and updating a Live Link requires a connection.
In Mexicano, check results before generating the next round. In the other modes, review the full schedule before the opening match.

Use King/Queen for a rotating schedule set before play, fixed pairs to keep partners in an adjustable session, or Mexicano for a results-influenced sequence. If your group fits a traditional Super and wants its complete schedule, compare before customizing.
